MINIATURE BEARINGS


Bearings with an internal diameter (bore/shaft) size of less than 10mm. Both ball and needle roller bearings are available, in a variety of types and sizes, with some bearings being available with a flange. Widely used from modelling (cars, planes, helicopters) to fishing reels - from dentists drills to the hard disk in computers.

DOUBLE ROW DEEP GROOVE BALL BEARINGS


As the name implies a bearing similar in nature to the single row deep groove ball bearing, but with the double row of balls offers a greater width. They are able to carry axial loads acting in both directions in addition to radial loads, and are particularly suitable where the load carrying capacity of a single row is inadequate. The variety of types and sizes are not as wide ranging as single row.

TAPER ROLLER BEARINGS


Taper roller bearings are used in wide range of applications, and are available in many designs and sizes including multiple row arrangements. These bearings have a tapered inner and outer ring raceways between which tapered rollers are arranged and are suitable for combined radial and axial loads. Taper roller bearings are generally separable in that the cone can be mounted from the cup.

NEEDLE ROLLER BEARINGS


Needle roller bearings have a relatively small cylindrical rolling element whose length is much larger than their diameter. Compared to other types of rolling bearings they have a small cross sectional height but significant load bearing capacity and rigidity relative to their volume, and because the initial force action on them is limited, they are an ideal choice for oscillating motion. Needle roller bearings are widely used especially in compact and lightweight machinery.

CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARINGS


Cylindrical roller bearings are available in many designs and sizes, with the majority being single row. Since the rolling elements make contact with raceways these bearings are able to accommodate heavy radial loads. The rollers of these bearings are guided by ribs on either the inner or outer ring, and therefore they are also suitable for high speed applications. Because cylindrical roller bearings are separable they are relatively easy to install and disassemble.
